Come and join us to hear first hand accounts from the

World Climate Conference COP15 last December.
Four people from Kinsale share and discuss their experiences

from inside the conference and on the streets.


Tuesday 16th 7.30pm at The Friary.
Refreshments will be provided.

Spring Fair 2010

Spring Fair Sign

On Saturday 24th April TTK will hold its fourth annual Spring Fair at various locations in the Kinsale. This is an opportunity to share ideas and information, to socialise, to support local community groups and businesses and to celebrate our achievements.

The day will be filled with numerous activities: an Energy Fair, Eco-Market, food and craft stalls and workshops including seed sowing, composting, bike maintenance, herbal tinctures, felt making, percussion and many more.

Street entertainment and childrens' events will take place throughout the town and evening entertainment in the form of the Springamagig, will be provided at the College of Further Education's amazing outdoor amphitheatre.

Cork / Kerry Transition Gathering

Russagh Mills Hostel

Hi Everyone,

Plans are progressing for our Cork/Kerry Transition/Sustainability Gathering. Our committee of volunteers, Klaus Harvey, Matt Mills, Caz Jeffreys, Jeannie Timony had a meeting last Friday to get our plans rolling.

It's at Russagh Mill Hostel (see photo) which is a lovely large hostel in Skibbereen which can hold a lot of people.

CSA Meeting

TTK is holding a public meeting to discuss setting up Kinsale's 2nd Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project on Tuesday 2nd February, at 8.30pm in the Temperance Hall, Kinsale.

CSAs are new models of food production. Members of a community come together & pay a grower/farmer up front for the mutually agreed produce that will be grown and supplied to the community members after it is harvested.
