Join Transition Town Kinsale (TTK) in conjunction with Kinsale Arts Festival and explore the accessibility and freshness of local fruits and vegetables plus enlightening talks on various food topics.

Programme of Events – Friary Hall:
*2.00 pm: Dr Colin Sage UCC/Chairman of Cork Food Council :
“Alternative Visions for our future Food Systems”
*2.30 pm John Brennan: Leitrim Organic Farmers Co-op
“GMO -the issue of Genetically Modified Organisms”
*300 pm Mags Coughlan: Ballymaloe Head Gardener
“Garden to Table”

4.00pm: Aimi Pinder

Farmer Aimi Pinder of “Kinsalge Green Growers” Local Food Community Supported Agriculture  will give a talk.
4.30pm: Klaus Harvey and Niamh Geoghegan

Will give a combined guided walk through Kinsale College Campus looking at both the wild and cultivated herbs and permaculture features, sustainable buildings and food gardens.

Green Day is sure to be fun for all ages as well as provide an educational experience of how we can together sculpt a sustainable future
