Kinsale Traffic Management

A Submission on behalf of Transition Town Kinsale

Transition Town Kinsale's (TTK) purpose is to create a town that residents and visitors are proud of.

TTK is asking that any proposals concerning the area's traffic management takes into account the information, opinions and suggestions provided by this body.

Our basic assumptions are:-

1) The existing system is unworkable from both economic and social perspectives.

2) Plans allowing for increased car use, rather than reduced car use, are flawed.

At present the Kinsale Community Train is running a regular Monday - Friday service for the benefit of residents, as part of a long term strategy to make the town a better place to walk, enjoy, and do business.

Many people have put a lot of time, money and effort into this project, and it is important that you have your chance to say how you think it could serve most people best.

So, email us now about your experiences and recommendations for the future.

Transition town Kinsale (TTK) is a group of concerned residents who work together to raise issues of sustainable living.
